Rome has an incredible history – The Roman Empire, The Catholic Church, The Renaissance, The Reunification of Italy. We focus on the the Rome that for twenty years was the capital of Fascist Italy, for nine months a Nazi occupied city and in June 1944 a city liberated by the US Fifth Army.
